He is most known for exploring nature and landscape paintings through different medi- ums, including pencil, acrylic, water- color, ink and digital methods. Early goals of becoming a landscape architect were interrupted by a suc- cessful business career. Later on Robert began painting more intently as a means of dealing with planning and building landscape design on a practical level in his own gardens. Being an avid observer of nature, a bonsai enthusiast and a photogra- pher have helped to form his unique style. Robert’s curiosity about the creative process and his own further exploring led to abstraction, expres- sionism and graffiti techniques he entwined in his work. Robert also began making ceramic sculpture and tiles as a part of his practice. The natural earth materials, the hand building process, the tools, the painting and glazing all provid- ing an abundance of opportunity to express nature in the 3D-form.
