This warm and inviting tavern is the creation of Antonio Berisha in partnership with Benny from Café Azzurro and offers Euro-pub food alongside traditional American classics. Take time out of your day, stop in and relax whether by yourself or with the whole family. Consider planning your next book club meeting here or a lunch- eon for the office. The Martinsville Tav- ern is available to accommodate your social needs. At Martinsville Tavern , share Chef J.C. Monterio’s signature appetizer, the Fried Calamari topped with chopped tomatoes, scallions, julienne romaine with a sweet and spicy chili sauce, and the Tavern Meatballs made with burrata, sprinkled with pine nuts and parmesan cheese at the table. The tavern’s simple menu keeps life stress free. Dining with the family? In the main dining area select from a variety of sal- ads, and then add an entrée from the dinner menu. Entrée options run the gamut from Braised Lamb Shank to Beef Tenderloin, from Chicken Coq Au Vin to Scottish Salmon. Desserts are made on site and are ample sized so they can be shared. Perfectly grilled meats are a spe- cialty during the spring and summer months from pork chops to rack of lamb and steaks. Fresh seasonal fish selections are always available. The Martinsville Tavern has the only bar in Martinsville. Happy Hour is from 4- 7pm on weekdays. Enjoy a cocktail favorite - Golden Derby - created with Bulleit Bourbon Honey/Ginger syrup, Grapefruit and Ginger Bitters or stay clos- er to home with a Martinsville Sour. Greig offers a sophisticated yet affordable wine list alongside craft beers, IPAs, Lager, Belgium White, Sea- sonal Sam Adams and beer on tap.
