WINNER WINNER!
The Bernards-Ridge summer issue ‘Spot the Fake’ ad winner is Kathy Connell of Basking Ridge. Kathy won a gift certificate to Mystic Lobster located in Basking Ridge.
On the cover –Gracing the cover of this issue is an oil-on-canvas piece by Gary Godbee. The artwork is entitled Alstede Farm Ruins. Gary says, “In the fall we love to go apple and pumpkin picking and have gone a few times to Alstede Farms in Chester. We recently explored an area of the farm we hadn’t seen before and came across the ruins of the manor house of Jared Haines. The sunlight on the large remaining wall being slowly reclaimed by vines created an arresting image that I wanted to capture.”
