Brown sugar cookie
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
Cream butter, shortening, and brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla extract.

In separate bowl mix dry ingredients, then add to the wet ingredients. Let dough chill for an hour.

Bake at 350F for 11-13 minutes (I usually do 12:30 exactland let cool.

To make honey whiskey maple glaze, take 1 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar, 4-5 tbsp. maple syrup and, Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey to desired taste and consistency. Any bourbon/whiskey works.
