In October 2024, The NOW Massage opened spas in both Somerville and Florham Park. The menu of massages at each location is designed to be simple and not overwhelming. A massage is meant to be relaxing and peaceful. The NOW Massage aesthetic is a whimsical beach vibe with an atmosphere that incorporates raw elements and natural materials to create a chic minimalist oasis. The interiors of the spa are inspired by nature. Natural wood surfaces and exposed beams dominate the rooms and are accented with sheep throws, rawhides, cactus galleries, and crystal grids. All the elements are aligned with nature and form the ultimate Zen environment for optimum relaxation.
The NOW Massage began in Los Angeles as a massage boutique. Each massage room resembles a cabana and allows guests to not only lift spirits and recharge but also truly reap the healing benefits of massage therapy.
Chirag Patel, owner of both locations, sees a trend in people wanting to be more in the driver’s seat of their self-care. That is where The NOW Massage comes into play.
The Now Massage, a signature Swedish massage, is the most popular choice on the menu. The Healer, an energy-balancing massage, is the runner-up. Guests also have the option for add-ons.
Two of the most requested enhancements are the Fresh Eyes, a soothing eye mask made with vitamins and antioxidants, and Hemp Calm Balm, a cooling peppermint and warming capsicum salve, elevated with the calming benefits of broad spectrum hemp.
The NOW Massage is open daily and offers a membership model that gives guests a significant discount when they enroll. They also sell jewelry, candles, and nourishment products for guests to enjoy as they await their spa service.
