Today’s creative agency has to constantly be in motion. Come to think of it…yesterday’s agency had to learn to adapt too! Marketing is not a set science, it requires continuous evolution of budget, technology…and plans.
Graphic Imagery began in 1988 with less than one thousand dollars. The purchase of Andy Warhol’s Compugraphic typesetting equipment was our first investment and the ultimate inspiration.
As that equipment became obsolete, our next phase of investment included a larger space, more employees, and Mac computers which launched us to another level of capabilities. This also defined Graphic Imagery’s strength of looking outside the box and offering creative solutions. Over the years we grew with an impressive client base including Bank of New York, Chase, Deloitte and Touche, Revlon, various universities, and many mid-sized businesses. Striving to better serve our growing clients, we created PrintMe, which offers a full range of printing, promotional items, exhibit solutions, and large format graphics.
Our history is filled with stories such as creating the first ATM card for Manufacturers Hanover Trust Bank, as well as their first ATM screen graphics designed to educate consumers on this “bizarre new process” of withdrawing money from a machine! Many years later, with lots of stories under our belt, we continue to respond to new technology, digital advertising, social media marketing, and a new consumer generation that doesn’t read, they primarily watch.
Last year, Graphic Imagery and PrintMe evolved again developing new methods of marketing for our clients during the pandemic and lockdown. Despite budget cuts, businesses of all types required COVID-19 safety materials. PrintMe became a provider of signage and branded COVID-19 communication for banks, college campuses, and schools. As businesses open up, we continue to provide cost-effective methods for direct mail, EDDM, POP, signage, and printing needs. During this difficult time, Graphic Imagery helped our clients adapt their marketing plans to alternative advertising options. Graphic Imagery also developed digital interactive brochures, handbooks, and viewbooks.
Our strength has always been to look outside the box and find solutions. With today’s new business challenges of reaching employees, prospects or, even congratulate accepted college students, we have filled the box! As we prepare to launch our newest company, It’s All About the Box, we are pleased to offer a new type of marketing. Our custom boxes precede zoom conferences and celebrations. “Keep in Touch” boxes have also been sent to students, employees, and new clients as we all try to stay connected in this new world of being distant.
Celebrating more than 30 years in business may sound ancient, but in reality, over the years Graphic Imagery and PrintMe have become seasoned professionals in an ever-changing industry.
