Nestled in the heart of Somerset County since 1911, Raritan Valley Country Club provides a member experience that goes beyond golf. Though 2020 has proven to be a uniquely challenging year, Raritan Valley Country Club has continued to see an influx of new members who are eager to experience the family culture and atmosphere of this historic facility.
In addition to the club’s Herbert H. Barker-designed golf course, the club offers a wide array of amenities, including a resort-style pool, four Har-Tru tennis courts, indoor squash courts, and an assortment of fine and casual dining options. The Club’s family atmosphere is further enhanced by a rich social calendar, youth programs and activities, as well as competitive golf, swimming, and tennis programs.
This summer looked a bit different than in years’ past, but RVCC’s phased opening allowed them to provide their members with services, activities, and amenities that they were unable to take advantage of anywhere else this season – all within a safe and familiar environment. Members were excited to return to regular course play, resume on-site dining (outdoors only), engage in tennis and youth programs, and enjoy the summer sun poolside at their own private oasis.
Raritan Valley has truly stood the test of time, with an incredible mix of members – from their new generation of Young Executive families (geared for those under age 40) to families who have been members for over 40 years – including some 3rd and 4th generation members.
Nancy and Arthur Lee, members since 1997, believe that their membership at RVCC has truly enriched their lives. “Raritan Valley Country Club is a very special place,” said Nancy. “First and foremost, its members are kind, very friendly, supportive when needed, and provide lots of fun and laughter. Being members of RVCC has enabled us to make many special and long-lasting friendships. We have met special people whom we would have never met if we hadn’t joined the Club.”
Rob and Katelyn Diffin joined the club in the fall of 2018 under the Young Executive Membership. With two young daughters, this family has found their social hub. “Between golf, kids’ camps, the kids playing together, pool time, and dining options, it’s easy for our family to spend an entire day at the club,” said Rob.
Whether young or young at heart, RVCC’s members enjoy a special camaraderie that extends beyond the club’s walls. RVCC invites you to be a part of their family, where you too can enjoy the benefits of membership and build friendships that last a lifetime.
