Stephanie Segal Miller’s love of art and creative process began at an early age and remains essential to the fabric of her life. Although occasionally sidetracked by life, she continues to explore various creative media, including painting, writing, stained glass, and sacred squandering of time.
While working on a children’s book manuscript, Stephanie discovered a book illustration class at the Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster, New Jersey. The class did more than help her improve her manuscript. It sparked a passion for watercolor and led her to further study with Lena Shiffman. Many of Stephanie’s paintings are inspired by her travels around the world.
Originally from Yardley, Pennsylvania, Stephanie resides in Basking Ridge (and sometimes Atlantic City, Shanghai or Brazil) with her husband Joel. A solo show featuring her watercolors will take place at the Bridgewater JCC during the month of April. The Artist Reception is Sunday, April 22nd from 4:30-6:30 pm. The JCC is located at 775 Talamini Road, Bridgewater, New Jersey.
