My name is Jacquelyn Salustro, I live in Warren, New Jersey, and I am currently a junior at Watchung Hills Regional High School.
I am in my third year of studying fine arts, and sketching and drawing has always been a hobby of mine.
Since early childhood, I’d sit on the floor of my kitchen looking at the drawings of buildings my parents had designed. Since then, art and design has always been a part of me. Over the years, I discovered myself being drawn to vibrant colors and nature’s beauty, so when I decided to draw this flower, I felt that I was preserving nature’s splendor.
I tend to work in pencil, pen and ink, and acrylic paints, constantly drawing my surroundings. I am a member and curator of National Art Honor Society and member of National Spanish Honor Society. I am also a Girl Scout, and I plan on accomplishing my Gold Award in the coming year. I enjoy playing Soccer and Ultimate Frisbee on the high school teams, and snowboarding when possible. I am currently visiting colleges and I plan to major in Graphic Design, New Media, and Advertising.
