Local resident, Margaret B. Pravata, was raised in Stirling and has lived in Warren for 40 years.
Margaret won many ribbons and awards for her sculpting early on but specializes in oil portraits, frescos and canvases. Her myriad of portraits include: Longfellow, Shakespeare, Emerson, Goethe, Beethoven, Bhrams, Romani, Lord Byron, Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Raphael, Rembrandt, Jesus, Sadhu, several Madonnas and many others.
Margaret also restores plaster statues, paintings and prints. She recently restored 14 large plaster high relief plaques of the Stations of the Cross as a volunteer. It was very detailed and took her one year to complete.
