I’m frequently asked, (1)What are you working on (2)What yarn is that (3)Where did you get the pattern.
My hooks and needles are rarely idle. Looking back on the past 12 months, my projects fall into several categories….Gifts for Babies, Accessories, Sweaters, and Home. Twenty-one!
How can I get so much completed? I have always carved out a bit of time every day, even when I was working. Yes, I’m retired, however, this work is done in the evenings. I belong to several knitting groups where we still meet on Zoom. Connecting with my friends across the USA is a source of inspiration, comfort, and lots of laughs. I also knit at every opportunity: in the car (as a passenger only, no worries), on the beach, and while watching TV or listening to audiobooks. [I even keep an emergency knitting project (socks) in the trunk of my car just in case I get stranded. No kidding.].
I have a HUGE stash of yarn. So when inspiration strikes, there is no need to shop. Instead, into the bins, I go in search of the perfect fiber. Well, sometimes shopping is involved…confession…the stash did not just materialize.
