The Connections Bernards Ridge Edition April/May 2021
If this past year has taught us anything, it is that we cannot control everything. Thankfully, one important thing is still in our control. That is how we look. At Pro les Salon in Liberty Corner, they understand that making you look good is all about making you feel good. The friendly, professional atmo- sphere in this neighborhood salon has at- tracted men, women and families as loyal clients for almost 40 years. Their creativity and ability to master changing trends is what will make them continue to be a main- stay in Liberty Corner for another 40 years. One of the easiest ways to perk up your look is through color. Whether you are covering some gray, adding highlights for dimension or a brighter look or mixing things up with trendy pink tips or ombre, changing your color works best when it is done well. Pro les Salon, a Goldwell cer- ti ed salon, knows how to do color right. Goldwell is the gold standard for color and at Pro les Salon they exclusively use Goldwell products. The stylists are trained by the brand to understand the products and how to use them to bring out the best range of colors for every client. One of the ways that Mary Pawlowski, the owner of Pro les Salon, and her staff were able to help their clients get through the worst of the quarantine is by getting creative to make sure that their clients were able to look good even if they were not going out. “We brain- stormed and came up with a way to make sure that our clients got their color even if they could not come into the salon. We made ‘Color bowls’ with the client’s person- al shade and included instructions for application and supplies. Although it is not the same as the salon and a professional application, they had the right color and it helped our clients look and feel good even at the worst of the pandemic.” Mary and her staff made deliveries to clients two or three days a week. Their creativity set them apart when we were shut down, and this profession- alism and customer service continues to shine now that they are open again for in person service. In addition to color, Pro les Salon has become an area leader in hair extensions. Hair extensions are not the bulky, uncom- fortable accessory that they were years ago. Pro les Salon uses Dream Catchers hair extensions, including tape- in exten- sions that are made of high quality human hair. They are an easy way to try a whole new look or to simply add natural looking length or volume to your hair. They are currently running a special price of 20% off your rst maintenance appointment when you try extensions. We can all agree it has been a tough year. Don’t let it get you down. Staying in is no reason not to look and feel your best. Treat yourself to a trip to Pro les Salon. They have done a fabulous job following and exceeding all CDC protocols, includ- ing temperature checks, plexiglass parti- tions and regular sanitizing.
