He has been treating patients in NJ for over 15 years. Dr. Champey is the owner of Champey Pain & Spine Group with four conven- ient locations in NJ. He lives in NJ with his wife Wendy (an anesthe- siologist) who he works with, their four children and multiple dogs and horses. His focus is on compassionate and personalized pain manage- ment. After your initial consultation and diagnostic testing, you will meet with the doctor again to discuss all of your options. He works closely with several chiro- practors and physical therapists who will treat you and give you home exercise instructions to see if this helps. If steroid injections or even surgery is necessary, Dr . Champey will explain the opera- tion in great detail. He performs almost every procedure at Mine Hill Surgical Center in Mine Hill, NJ which is JACHO accredited. The surgery center is fully equipped with state of the art equipment for pain management, minimally invasive spine surgery and orthopedic surgery. Wendy Champey, MD is the chief anesthesiologist at Mine Hil l Surgical Center and has been an anesthesiologist in NJ for over 15 years. She specializes in the art of same day procedures which requires a strict balance between excellent anesthesia for surgery , with the ability of the patients to be able to get up and leave com- fortably the same day. At Mine Hil l Surgical Center, the procedures are done in as little as 15 minutes and some take up to to severa l hours, but every patient is dis- charged safely and comfortably the same day.
