Lack of available homes for sale continues to be a positive sign for sellers. There are 56 homes, both condo and single family, on the market today, vs. pre-pandemic, when available homes averaged 150-200 this time of year. Pricing your home correctly and having your home turnkey, or at least well maintained, with neutral colors, gives it a competitive edge. Location as a criteria is once again a very important part of the selection process. Tranquil and park-like outdoor spaces remain a strong selling point. The bottom line: as more homes become available, buyers are becoming more discerning. Interest rates and recession talks have created uncertainty, yet our towns remain highly desirable and demand is still here!
