Apart from the change in weather, this is also a time when we transition from a relaxed summer schedule to our normal routine. The fall edition is one of our most popular ones and at this busy time The Connection Magazines becomes even more of a valuable source of information and special offers. Over the last two decades, The Connection Magazines has emerged as the preferred choice for businesses to market their brands and, for readers to engage in everything related to LOCAL shopping, dining, and activities. Our community-centric mindset and professionalism grows with each new edition we bring to YOU. Through our PRINT and DIGITAL magazines, we have consistently managed to spread this love, keeping our readers interested and involved. In this issue – We feature many new and recurring businesses. We urge you to patronize these businesses where you will be treated with great warmth and appreciation. Let them know you read about them in our magazines! Mention-worthy in this edition is our Community News column highlighting Tri-County Scholarship Fund. Tri-County provides partial scholarships to financially disadvantaged children in northern NJ so they can attend safe, quality, values-based independent schools where they thrive. Please read to learn how this organization is changing lives one student at a time. Our Jewish Life page encourages followers of the faith to congregate in our communities to celebrate the upcoming Jewish Holidays. You may want to visit these places of prayer, education and charitable work. On the cover – Gracing the cover of this issue is a watercolor piece by Linda Howe. The artwork is entitled, Peace Pond. Linda says, “As a child, I went to a small pond to see what was coming alive there. I‘d scour the perimeters and try to catch frogs. Now, decades later, I realize it's probably watching those frogs that taught me how to sit very still, so I can paint, and listen more deeply, and only move when I need to. When I look upon this scene, today, it reminds me to choose peace, that’s it, plain and simple, or 'plein air' and simple. Painting and drawing can be like Windex for my mind and places and experiences like this do teach me how to live and flow with change.” Please read her impressive bio on page 8. Additionally, find articles on Health & Wellness, Senior Living, Cutting-Edge Medical Technology, Family Laws, Travel & more. Written by industry experts, they are loaded with information and insights. OUR POPULAR DIGITAL FEATURES Don’t forget to FOLLOW our social media channels. We truly do CONNECT you to your communities.
