Watercolors were my form of ex- pression in secondary school. And then, after a long hiatus for career de- mands I found my way back to art — happily trading in my business cards for paint, brushes, and study at the Center for Contemporary Art, Hunter- don Museum of Art, and Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. To my delight, my creative passion rekindled with ease. I’m drawn to paint images that express the natural world, stimulate the senses, and reveal moments that invite us to pause and consider how extraordinary the ordinary can be. I’ve lived in Hunterdon County for almost 40 years finding inspiration in our bucolic part of the state, my love of travel, and Sunday rides with my husband in our 1960 Nash Met- ropolitan. I work primarily in-studio from digital photography, so often found with phone/camera in hand, ready to capture the cool gray of a winter day, sun-warmed sand against azure skies, soft red cardinal feathers, prickly yellow-green flower stems, or the butter-colored stones of a quaint village.
