Warm weather is returning, and once spring is in full swing, Swiss Chalet Bak- ery & Cafe will open its beautiful outdoor patios. This excitement is no surprise for anyone who has stepped into the spacious and comforting cafe. Whether it’s for a lunch break with colleagues or a respite from a hectic day of shopping, the cafe is one of the hottest spots in Morristown. The community will soon be able to bask in the amazing weather and sunshine from the cafe’s outdoor patio, where they can peruse the full breakfast and lunch menus including sandwiches, wraps, paninis, and even personal pizzas from an artisanal brick oven. The cafe owners will be keeping the bakery open late on Fridays and Saturdays to give everyone the opportunity to sample the pastries, coffee, cappuccinos and more. One thing that hasn’t changed with the season is the quality of Swiss Chalet Bak- ery & Cafe’s amazing menu and desserts. Since 1970, this family business has mas- tered the art of baking. Throughout the four decades since their opening, the bak- ery has continued to craft the most incred- ible cakes such as a Chanel bag & beer bot- tles, cupcakes, specialty cookies, petit fours, pies, cannoli and strudels for the community. The bakery has earned the loy- alty of Morristown not only due to the exceptional cuisine, but also because Swiss Chalet Bakery & Cafe values its customers and is an integral part of Morristown’s wel- coming atmosphere. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, anniversary or holiday party, Swiss Chalet Bakery & Cafe has the most creative and talented team who can craft a cake or pas- try for any occasion. Another attribute of the bakery is its dedication to both quality and aesthetics. From cakes for special occa- sions to the daily selection of fresh pastries, Swiss Chalet has something for everyone to enjoy. Another attraction that keeps customers coming back is Swiss Chalet’s incredible team of chefs and bakers. The dedicated and creative team can alter their recipes to fit any dietary needs or restrictions. They offer gluten free and sugar free desserts that are renowned for being just as tasty as their mainstream ones. “For us, the most important thing is our customers. We are a family and we want our customers and community to know that they are a part of that family,” explains owner Jimmy Ulfat. When Jimmy, 3rd gen- eration, became the newest owner of the bakery, he knew not to alter the aspects of the bakery that helped it achieve its initial success. Jimmy retained the same staff and menu that has been satisfying customers for generations because he understands and values the meaning of community. Since 1970, the bakery has been a corner- stone of the Morristown community. Per- haps the greatest proof of the bakery’s con- tribution to its community is their charitable disposal of excess food and pastries. The bakery donates what is left to local church- es and various nonprofit organizations. “This community has been so good to us, we want to give back in return,” said Ulfat.
