After 3 years in Chatham, Debra decided to close and focus on Interior Design. She sensed that if she was to go forward into retail, the complexion of her business was going to have to change and the idea of sharing space with Julian Gage Home Collection came about. Debra is a former executive, on both the retail and wholesale sides of the fashion industry for over 30 years. Her objective was to open a retail home store to educate her customers in the latest trends and designs so that they could develop their own sense of decorative style. At Méli Mélo Home , Debra offers beautiful objects that reflect a sense of luxury and comfort and products that focus on the artful enjoyment of sim- ple pleasures. Debra’s years of experience have certainly given her a per- ceptive eye for detail. She travels to all the major furniture and gift shows to get the latest trends on Home Furnishings and design.
