After working for other com- panies for over 20 years, she was excited to open her own showroom in April 2017 when the opportunity arose. Gemini Design specializes in kitchens, bathrooms, libraries, bars, laundry rooms and much more. “I found my passion as a Kitchen and Bath Designer by accident,” she explains. “After my college graduation, I trained in Retail Buying and then opened my own manufacturing and wholesale company,” she says. Gaeta married and moved to Europe for 8 years. “We bought a house when we were transferred to Germany and I designed my first kitchen in 1991. I loved the result and wanted to learn more,” she recalls. Since then, she’s worked in kitchen and bath design, trained with the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), taken wood shop classes and the builder’s licens- ing exam in MI and worked with contrac- tors to learn the ‘tricks of the trade’ of her profession. “I love what I do and the clients I help,” she proudly states. Post divorce, “I’m so blessed to have my career and the opportunity to run my own company.” In her spare time she loves to play tennis, swim, travel, and visit muse- ums, plus she devotes time to causes she is passionate about, such as Holiday Express and BWnice.
