Get Clear & Be Present ! Experience Life Fully ! You WILL… Which one of these calls your attention? Which one feels true for you? They are actually both true and depend- ing on where you are standing at a par- ticular moment, you can use either state- ment to work for you or against you. “The time is running out” sense of urgency can be the catalyst you need to get you moving forward. It’s why most marketing is geared to get us to act now for the best deal in town before it’s taken away and no longer available. While it is spiritually true that you do have all the time you need, and “all the time in the world,” you don’t want to be wasteful and mindless about it either. This is your beautiful gift of life that we’re talking bout. Walking around unconsciously clueless will not give you the fullness and wonder that is here for you. That type of existence leaves you empty and unfulfilled. Because if you are going thru the motions on auto pilot without really being present, you’re miss- ing out on fully living. You are missing out on feeling the real beauty that your life has to offer. Each moment is an extremely precious gift and each moment offers you a new choice. This is so friggin’ cool if you think about it. You can always choose again. Which means that you can keep growing and learning and being better at your life. Everything becomes a fantastic teaching moment and an opportunity to get to know yourself more. The only thing you need to do is participate. Here are 5 steps that will help you step up your participa- tion in becoming more present through- out your day. Use them to help you flow through your life with more grace and ease so that the time on the clock becomes less important because you are having the time of your life. 1. BE SILENT Take 10 minutes of your 1440 daily minutes to sit in silence and connect within. Just sit there and ask, What do I need to know right now? and then listen up for your answer/inspiration. 2. PAY ATTENTION Whether you are interacting with another person (or an activity), be with that person (or that activity). Keep your mind totally focused on what is directly in front of you (that person or that activity) 3. PICK ONE Pick one thing off your bucket list and DO IT. Enjoy the stages of planning and excitement. Even if and especial- ly when you try to talk yourself out of it, because you will, note to self that excuses are no longer welcome here. This is where you might want to use your sense of urgency and ask your- self, “If not now, when”? and get friggin’ excited about doing your thing!! 4. SIT IN THE FRONT I have this thing about the theater. If I am going to the show, I am going to show up fully. I’m gonna sit in the front row so I can almost feel the actors’ breath on me as I experience the play to the fullest. This step is about being fully present, no matter where you are. PARTICIPATE. Get fully on the stage, not hiding out in the back, unable to see what is going on, and easily distracted. 5. LAUGH TILL YOU HAVE TO PEE Remember how it felt as a kid to laugh so hard, you had to pee? Do that. You’re whole body chemistry changes when you lighten up and laugh. Don’t be so serious about stuff. It’s all gonna be okay. The Uni- verse has your back and God is good. Create fun moments and carry them around in your heart. Memories that are so much fun, live over and over in our hearts, giving us even more time to enjoy them! Remember, your life is not a dress rehearsal. The good news is that you choose how you show up on your stage. The even better news is that at any moment and at every moment you can choose again.
