When visiting New Jersey wine country this summer you can also look forward to the 5th Annual Wine & Food Festival that will be put on by Vintage North Jersey, a collaboration of northern New Jersey wineries. The event is scheduled on the weekend of August 18 and 19, 2018 at Four Sisters Winery in Belvidere. Gates open at 12 noon through 5 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Held at one of the oldest North Jersey wineries, Four Sisters Winery, owned and operated by the Matarazzo family, has a long history of farming even before planting their first vines 33 years ago. Rolling along the northwest corner of our state is terrain similar to parts of Spain, France, Italy and Germany, where Vintage North Jersey winer- ies produce an array of wine types to tease and please every palate. Take a ride through beautiful northern New Jersey and experience some of their fine wines and local flavors at one centrally located venue just off Route 80. Join Vintage North Jersey member wineries for their annual Wine & Food Festival. Wineries representing Warren, Hunterdon and Mercer Counties will be on hand offering their award-winning wines. Food trucks, specialty food and wine-related vendors, farmers’ market will have a variety of food available for purchase. Enjoy the entertainment of local bands daily. Sample over 75 international, national and state award-winning wines from 8 North Jersey wineries with over 100 years of wine making experience collectively. Enjoy red, white and fruit wines for every taste. Tickets at the gate are $25 for one day and $45 for two days. Non-drinking attendees are $10 at the gate.
