The RVCC Chorale will present its spring concert on Sunday, April 28, at 3 p.m. The event, which is open to the public, will be held in the Welpe Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College’s Branchburg campus.
The program will feature the premiere of RVCC faculty member Dr. John Sichel’s “The Earth Laments Her Butterflies” and also will include works by John Leavitt, Felix Mendelssohn, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, and Stephen Schwartz.

Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Student Jazz Ensemble will perform in concert Tuesday, April 30, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus.
The group is directed by RVCC faculty member Dr. Oliver Santana.
The program will perform music by a variety of jazz artists and composers, including George Shearing, George Gershwin, Oscar Pettiford, and Duke Ellington, as well as familiar selections from the Great American Songbook. All of these performances will feature spontaneous improvisations by student musicians.

In commemoration of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), the Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Raritan Valley Community College will present “Meaningful Moments and Holocaust Remembrance with Maud Dahme and NJEA teachers Tamara Beatty and Lisa Hann,” May 2, from 7-8 p.m.
The event is free of charge and open to the public.
The program will feature an online panel discussion with Holocaust survivor Maud Dahme and NJEA teachers Tamara Beatty and Lisa Hanna. The educators joined Dahme and 28 other NJEA teachers in July 2023 for a 10-day NJ Holocaust Commission trip to Poland, The Netherlands, Prague, and Berlin.

The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College will conclude its 40th season on a musical note with a performance of StevieMac: A Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks Experience, Friday, May 3, at 8 p.m.
StevieMac faithfully recreates solo recordings of Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks with striking accuracy. Diane Lutz gives a stunning performance as Stevie Nicks, with spot-on vocals and visuals that magically capture Nicks’ stage presence. The show features the greatest hits from Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, including “Stand Back,” “Rhiannon,” “Gold Dust Woman,” “Don't Stop,” “Stop Dragging My Heart Around,” and “Silver Springs.”
In addition to the incredible vocals, StevieMac features a production value that provides a stellar experience second only to the real thing. Audiences members will be on their feet, singing along to all the hits.
Tickets for StevieMac: A Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks Experience cost $40, $30, and $25.
