March 7, 2024Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present the annual RVCC Student Art Exhibition in two installments again this year. Part I of the exhibition will be on display from February 26-March 22, in the Art Gallery at the College’s Branchburg campus. Part II of the exhibition will run from April 1-26.
The reception for Part I will be held Friday, March 1, from 5-7 p.m. The event is free of charge and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg will present the National Dance Company of Ireland’s production of Rhythm of the Dance, Friday, March 15, at 8 p.m.
Rhythm of the Dance creates a new era in Irish entertainment. This incredible, live show celebrates all elements of Irish culture: champion step dancers and innovative choreography; first-rate Irish musicians and singers; and storytelling that is centuries old, yet utilizes the latest in stage technology to celebrate the Emerald Isle in the 21st Century.

Raritan Valley Community College will be celebrating its 8th Annual “Giving Day” on March 21, and this year the “match challenge” is back, thanks to two generous benefactors—Jim and Jill Gibson of Basking Ridge and The Caruso Family Foundation—whose combined gifts will provide $50,000 in matching funds to support RVCC Giving Day 2024. If the RVCC community can raise $50,000, the $50,000 match funds are added to the fundraising total.

March 24, 2024The Courthouse Quilters Guild will be holding an event on March 24, 2024. During the day (1-5pm) there will be a workshop to make mixed media Shad Fest Posters, this event will be member led and free of charge. The poster will be donated for the Shad Fest Auction in April. Starting at 6:30pm there is a Guild meeting and lecture about how Safe Harbor Child-Access Centers empower individuals and families healing from trauma in a safe space with our guest speaker Carol Dvoor, as she shares her passion with us. Safe Harbor is one of our chosen charitable organizations that benefits from the sales of our Caring Heart Quilt Program.
