RVCC Holiday Art Show, Sale to Feature Ceramics, Handmade Jewelry, and Artwork

 Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present its annual Holiday Art Show and Sale, December 8-12, in the Art Gallery (lower level, College Center) at the College’s Branchburg campus. The event is free of charge and open to the public.

The exhibition and sale will feature a varied display of work created by RVCC students, instructors, and several alumni. The ceramic work for sale ranges from low-fire smoked and Raku vessels to high-fired functional and sculptural pieces in porcelain and stoneware. Other show highlights include greeting cards, handmade jewelry, and original drawings and paintings. The Holiday Art Show and Sale offers a great opportunity for members of the public and the College community to support local artisans this holiday season.

Gallery hours for the sale are as follows: Monday, December 8, noon to 8 p.m.; Tuesday through Thursday, December 9-11, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Friday, December 12, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Purchases may be made by cash or personal checks only.
