Leslie is a graduate of the deCret School of the Arts, member of the Pastel Society of America, The Salmagundi Club and is a past president of the Society of Animal Artists. She states, “I have been an endangered species artist for over 40 years. Their habitat is also something I enjoy portraying. ‘The Vanishing Act’ is a reminder of how much our children will miss when these animals fade away. To illustrate I chose the white tiger on gray paper fading into the background.” Please read Leslie’s fascinating bio on page 10.
