When entrepreneur, Tom Bay,
cared for his father, Tom Sr., and then
his mother, Anita, at home, he
became acutely aware there was a
void in the market for companion
and personal care providers. Soon
after his parents’ passing, he devel-
oped the heart-pounding passion
necessary to launch this wonderful
journey to make a difference in the
lives of seniors. Gaining inspiration
and knowledge on a daily basis by
performing the many facets of care-
giving personally, he chose to own
and operate an elder-care company
which would make a positive impact
on what was an obvious and glaring
need – reliable, affordable in-home
care for seniors.
Anita’s Angels, Inc.
was estab-
lished in 2003 in memory of Tom’s
mom, Anita, and dad, Tom Sr., as a
way to honor their life experiences
and fulfill the many needs of the
growing senior population. His par-
ents were both extremely involved in
numerous civic and religious organi-
zations giving their time and energy
to people in need. Thus, he affec-
tionately named the company after
his mom.

is celebrating
its 13th year anniversary this Fall! It
continues to be our pleasure to care
for the elderly, keeping them as inde-
pendent as possible in their own
homes and servicing them with a smile
as
“Families Helping Families.”
Anita’s Angels, Inc.
is a Health
Care Service Firm licensed with the
State of New Jersey. We provide in-
home hourly and 24-hour live-in
care. Our caregivers are dependable,
compassionate, trustworthy, and
professional. They are insured and
bonded, and thoroughly screened
through background checks. Each
client’s specific needs are reviewed
with the caregiver before service
begins. Training continues with
ongoing support and direction from
the home office.
In addition to our companion
caregivers, we have Certified Home-
maker-Home Health Aides (CHHHAs)
– trained and in compliance with the
regulations established by the State
of New Jersey Board of Nursing. Our
CHHHAs provide extended care –
bathing assistance, grooming assis-
tance, dressing assistance, transfer-
ring assistance, toileting assistance
and exercise assistance. A Registered
Nurse (RN) will assess and design a
plan of care tailored for each client
requiring personal care. The RN will
supervise that case and our CHHHA
caring for that client on a regular
basis.
Our mission was and still is to sup-
port, educate and advocate for all
families caring for their loved ones at
home. We believe that every senior
should have the opportunity to stay in
their own home with independence
and dignity for as long as possible.
