In addition to holding a bachelor’s degree, a RDN must complete multiple courses of education and extensive training, established by the Accreditation Coun- cil for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). As food experts, registered dietitian nutri- tionists can help patients develop a safe and effective nutrition plan to get them back on track with healthy eating and exercise.
