Dr. Amy firmly believes “Of course, we can clean kids teeth twice per year but the opportunities to have great brushing habits at home are equally impor- tant. Kids have over 700 opportuni- ties per year to brush (2x/day) and we need to give them the tools to feel successful at home while brush- ing.” Demonstrations and tools are given to the kids to help them and their parents feel more confident with brushing and flossing at home. For kids that may require dental treatment, nitrous oxide, IV sedation and hospital based dentistry are all options available.
