PROACTIVE CARE 1072 Valley Road Stirling, NJ 908-903-1199 Dr. Newton H. Klein Dr. Newton H. Klein is a Chiroprac- tic Physician who recently graduated from New York Chiropractic College, 2015. While in school he completed a year of clinical rotation in Levit- town, LI. Prior to a career in Chiro- practic, Dr. Klein attended and grad- uated from Monmouth University in 2011 with a B.S. in Health Studies. While studying at Monmouth, he was involved with the community, helping to volunteer with beach cleanings and giving his time at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Also, he was appointed President of the Mon- mouth University Health Fair, in which he attracted sixty vendors, ranging from yoga, chiropractic, acupuncture, and local farm markets. While completing his Doctorate at NYCC, Dr. Klein was appointed Presi- dent of the sports club, bringing in top doctors in sports related injuries and rehab. He would set up events to provide chiropractic care to college athletes at the New York City Armory. Now working at ProActive Care Spine and Sports Injury Center based in Long Hill, NJ, he aims to build a practice based on patient’s individual problems and correcting them. “My goal is to improve the per- formance for anyone looking to increase the status of their health, by improving rate of recovery and reliev- ing pain. Concentrating on the mus- culoskeletal system, my expertise will be able to treat a wide variety of problems. Every individual will receive the same high standard of care that will be specific to their problem.” While in school, Dr. Klein specialized in lumbar spine and sports related injuries. Having a vast knowledge in lumbar spine disorders, such as, bulging or herniated discs, sciatica, and muscular injuries, he can use numerous techniques in order to obtain a patient’s maximum recovery. Some of the techniques that he will utilize are Diversified, Cox Flexion and Distraction, Thompson Drop Table, Activator, ConnectTx, Nimmo, athlet- ic taping, and A.R.T. How can Dr. Klein and Chiropractic help you? At first, Chiropractors are known for their expertise in Spine related injuries (Herniated discs, mus- cle spasm, strain, sprain, and degen- eration). Dr. Klein is well versed in dif- ferential diagnosis of disorders of the spine, in which he will be able to iso- late the problem at hand, allowing for a proper care plan to be scripted. He firmly believes that having the Doctor understand the reason for the patient having pain is a major step in the process of healing. Dr. Klein is an avid athlete and still keeps active in local leagues and con- tinues to be involved in coaching our youth today. Having the knowledge and personal experience in sports allows Dr. Klein to have a better understanding of sports biomechan- ics and movement related injuries. He utilizes this expertise to treat prob- lems of the shoulder, elbow, hips, knees, and ankle/feet. He enjoys working with all ages and bringing his unique background and training into helping improve the lives of his patients by bringing them down the road to recovery.
