FOR SENIORS: The Residences at Warren Readers of the SENIOR CORNER know that I try very hard to provide pertinent information to help the aging community. Needless to say, one of the biggest consideration for all of us is financial prepared- ness, and that leads to whether or not to purchase insurance. I recent- ly reconnected with a friend who has been in the insurance industry for over 40 years, and he is so knowledgeable, that I wanted to introduce him to you. Jeffrey Dunst, CLU, ChFC, CLTC, of International Planning Alliance is fully accredited in all aspects of the business (973) 669-8548, JDunst@ planningalliance.com. And plan- ning is what I want readers to focus on BEFORE the need exists. Jeffrey specializes in Long Term Care, and knows the importance of being prepared! He has been a caregiver for 5 family members, currently, his Dad, and so he "not only talks the talk, he walks the walk." He knows firsthand what a physical, emotional and financial drain an extended illness puts on the family. Again, I can't stress enough the value of preparedness, and that will be different for each family and each family member. Jeff spends time understanding the needs of a client, and when meeting the potential client, he asks the following 3 questions: Do you think you will live into your 80’s and 90’s? If so, is it possible you will become frail and need some assis- tance? Have you considered the financial consequences to your family and retirement plans? Jeff informs me he goes to the market- place with the answers to these questions, as well as other informa- tion he gathers, and gets numerous quotes for them. I highly recom- mend talking with Jeffrey Dunst or your insurance agent to find out where you are in the continuum of preparedness. Additionally, as always, please contact me if our business, SENIOR ASSISTANTS (908) 883- 0469; ellynmantell@aol.com, can be of “assistance” to you. Carol Cozewith and I will move you or your family member to senior living with style and ease. We help in the planning, downsizing and physical move, using our talents and experi- ence to meet the needs of our clients, easing the transition of all involved. In addition to bringing familiar possessions, we create an experience that is both seamless and comforting at a challenging time of life. We pride ourselves on being the “DAUGHTERS ANY SENIOR NEEDS WHEN IT IS TIME TO MOVE!” We want you to know our clients will not have to pack or unpack a single box...you or your parents deserve our service!
