Always traveling to capture nature, Mindy states, ”I painted it after I came back from a trip to Costa Rica. Toucan Rescue Ranch is a place in Costa Rica that rehabilitates owls, toucans and other rainforest animals. This little owl was one of the “rescues.” I don’t remember what the species is…all I know is we had a Stare Down Contest and I think he won…I blinked first!” Please read Mindy’s impressive bio on page 8.
