Cheese-Stuffed Meat Loaf

  • 1 1/2 lbs . ground beef
  • 1/4 c . dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 28- oz jar Chunky Garden Style Pasta Sauce
  • 2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 Tbsp chopped parsley

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine beef, 1/3cup pasta sauce, egg & breadcrumbs. Season with salt & pepper. Shape & put in 13x9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cup cheese & parsley down center leaving 3/4" border. Press to seal. Bake uncovered 45 mins. Pour remaining sauce over meatloaf, sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake for an additional 15 minutes or till sauce is heated through & cheese is melted. Let it stand for 15 minutes.
