Patriotic Fruit Tray

Ingredients

  • 1-2 small containers of fresh strawberries
  • 1-2 small containers of fresh blueberries
  • Mini marshmallows (2-3 cups)
  • 2 small disposable aluminum grill pans

Instructions

  1. Remove the strawberries from the container and rinse with water/dry.

  2. Slice the strawberries so that the tops and bottoms are off; use the middle parts of the strawberries for the recipe and slice them all thin. Set aside the strawberries.

  3. Remove the blueberries from the container and rinse with water/dry. Set aside the blueberries.

  4. Set aside 2-3 cups of mini marshmallows.

  5. Clean and arrange the disposable pans so they are ready for filling.

  6. Fill the grooves of the pans with alternating lines of strawberries, marshmallows, and blueberries. Try to create an image of the American flag (red, white, and blue). Look at a picture for guidance.

  7. Fill until the pans are full

  8. Serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

The disposable aluminum pans may be purchased at a dollar store. The recipe makes two fruit trays.
