friendwithacamera.com 908-208-1361 By: Tatiana Javier Beverly Nowakowski For the moments that matter, be present and let party photog- rapher Beverly Nowakowski do the rest. As a mother of three, Bev is a practiced memory maker who knows how to encapsulate the spontaneity of every event small and large. Friend With a Camera began as a passion project to document good times worth sharing with generations to come. “I can’t even sit through a Thanksgiving gathering without snapping photos. I love capturing the candid moments. That’s what it’s all about,” said Beverly. Bev lives behind her lens to photograph events including fam- ily reunions, adult and children’s birthday parties, anniversary cele- brations, Bat and Bar Mitzvahs, corporate gatherings, class reunions, social parties, religious services and more. “I always serve my clients with a mom’s point of view, always seeking relationships between the guests and a family’s unspoken moments,” said Bev of her per- sonal photographic style. She recently photographed a 20th wedding anniversary with a family that hadn’t seen each other in years. “Sometimes it takes people a little bit to warm up to someone walking around with a camera, but when they do I learn about family history and I love catching that,” said Beverly. Bev’s competitively priced pack- ages begin at $400 and come with one to three photographers depending on the event size, all equipment and lighting, pre/post event consultations and user- friendly online ordering. Additional services include pre- event photography, photo col- lages, memory books, DVDs, online slideshows and profession- al editing. Along with photographing events, Bev does commissioned work such a portraiture. Bev provided her self-portrait services to a friend of poet Rachel Berry who raved, “This photo exudes experience, abundant knowledge, compassion, realness and empowerment.” You can view her online portfo- lio at friendwithacamera.com.
