“This is going to be a fantastic year for Bountiful Home & Gardens “ replied Lisa Miccolis, owner of Bounti- ful Gardens in Hillsborough and Chester, after being asked “How’s Business?” She has partnered with another local Landscape Company, Zimmerman Landscaping to form a Full Service Property Management Compa- ny. “I have been wanting to do this for years but waited until I found a partner that could add the expertise that we needed.” David Zimmerman has been in the Lawn Care business for over 15 years and has several certifications including ICPI for the installation of paver patios, walkways, and driveways as well as NCMA for the construction of natural and man-made retaining walls and steps. Lisa Miccolis of Bountiful Gardens has been selling her family’s plants since she was eight years old at Farm- ers Markets and today she owns two Garden Centers and continues to sell plants with 33 years of experience. “There are two scenarios that keep me passionate about Landscaping. One is like any designer, I love to create a new garden that I have envisioned with my client’s want list in mind and see the project through until it is a beautiful reality. Equally exciting and satisfying is when I meet a new client and get introduced to their property and this client has lost hope with how the prop- erty or garden looks and to their sur- prise my team and I turn the garden around into an amazing new garden. I love it and I feel so blessed to make a living from it.” Both companies have come togeth- er as one large united team to form a Full Service Company that caters to clients complete landscaping needs. The seasonal pain of clients scheduling multiple companies, creating each of their To-do list, hoping each task is valid and necessary and things are not being overlooked is no longer a pain our clients have to endure. “The main reason for expanding the company is to offer more services to our clients, it isn’t to have more clients, although that’s not a bad thing if that is the result. We did this because our clients wanted us to do everything. They trust us, they know we care and we have the knowledge. They are busy with their work in their line of expertise and taking care of their family. My clients know that I worry about the soil in the gardens and I worry about getting the planters and season- al plants planted and full by Memorial Day and what colors we will use this season. They know I worry about the shrubs being hand pruned and not sheared with gas trimmers and I worry about the shape they are pruned so the shrubs and trees look natural and not like triangles, squares, and lol- lipops and so much more. They know my team is trained well and I oversee that everything gets done right. I have always worried when I leave the prop- erty of what other companies are doing around the gardens we tend when we aren’t there. I found that same passion for detail and care in Zimmerman’s Company so we decided that together we would form Bounti- ful Home & Gardens. Our company is different because we have a property manager assigned to each client. Their own manager that they can call or text and ask anything at any time. I feel strongly that this service should be affordable for every homeowner that hires a landscape company not just large estates. The client’s manager is at the property once a week from April through October taking notes and making sure every- thing is scheduled at the right time, in the right order and on the right day so that all maintenance being done cre- ates a synergy in the landscape that seems effortless. We want our clients to spend their time in their yards and outdoor living spaces enjoying it.
