Whether we are going to the grocery store, the pharmacy or the library, or per- forming light house-keeping, providing companionship or assistance with meals, we do it in a manner that’s professional, promotes independence and helps to make your life a little easier. Consider a scenario: You are living independently in your home and realize that you can no longer do the day-to-day chores that you once were able to do. Suddenly going to the grocery store, shopping and get- ting those packages into your car and back into your home and put away becomes over- whelming. You are still able to care for your own personal needs like dressing, showering and grooming, but just need someone to assist you with those things that just seem to take up too much of your time or may be difficult to accomplish by yourself. You may need someone to accompany you to an appointment – drop you off at the front door and pick you up and take you back home. No struggling to park the car, vali- date the parking ticket and walk the distance it may be to your appointment. The first step to getting started with service is a complimentary in person assessment. This ses- sion typically lasts about a half an hour and can take place in your home. During this visit we have the chance to get to know you, talk about your specific needs, answer questions you have and discuss a plan that will meet your needs. After our meeting, we will develop a plan and set up an appointment for our first day of service. It’s as easy as that!
