NJ LICENSE NO. 00342A Farm to table... not a new con- cept, but for many of us a great way of life and a fantastic way for local residents to connect with their local farmers and get closer to the food they eat with their families. Farmers’ Markets have sprung up across our country. They promote in-season eating, organic and local produce and educate us as well. For the past 2 years, the Wagn- er Farm Arboretum has helped organize local farmers and food artisans by participating in this trend and the 2015 sea- son will be moving to a busier, more accessible location! June 18th marks the opening day for the Farmers’ Market in the Warren Township area and the season runs through September 24th. You can find it at 46 Mountain Blvd., in front of the Warren Municipal Complex every Thursday from 3 to 7pm. At the market you will find a variety of locally grown veg- etables, fruits, all natural meats, award winning farm- stead cheeses, artisan breads, fresh pasta, and Italian special- ties, along with baked goods, local wine, nuts, pickles, honey, fresh flowers and much more! The best way to connect with your food is to connect with the people who grow it. Our Farmers’ Market in Warren is no exception and the farmers and artisans are there to talk and share their knowledge with you. Come support them and enhance your table! About Wagner Farm Arboretum The Wagner Farm Arboretum Foundation was founded in 2004. Located in Warren, NJ the organization seeks to enrich, educate and inspire the community by increasing environmental awareness and recreational opportunities.
