Mara’s started with family recipes serving delicious desserts. To go along with the desserts, Glenn, a coffee perfection- ist, distinguished a unique line of roasted coffee products. It was not long before customers got word and starting coming in every day for cof- fee and baked goods. In 2004, sons, Ian and Devan, joined the family business with great plans of expansion. After nearly 20 years of becoming well known for their fresh baked goods and the best coffee in the area, the idea of a fran- chise became the next step. Sand- wiches, salads, wraps and full meals were added and soon Mara’s became a dining destination with customers from neighboring towns. Soon customers were asking for a Mara’s closer to home so they too could enjoy a delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere. All desserts featured in their cases are beautifully presented and so very appetizing. Mara’s has a wel- coming atmosphere with specially lighted menu boards from which to order. There is a wide selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner items all made on premise . Chef Joe who was self taught from his own family of cooks has over 16 years of experi- ence. He truly enjoys his craft and is proud to offer many of his own fam- ily recipes. Joe has brought many ethnic favorites to Mara’s, which adds to the diversity of his menu.
