Camp Bow Wow of Bridgewater opened its doors in June of 2005 and has since served as a second home for many pooches, a vacation spot for some, a place to let off some steam for others, a school to learn good manners for many, and a spa for doggy beautification for those who might have needed a bit of “spiff- ing up.” With an open play envi- ronment, the campers (yes, the doggies) enjoy the company and antics of other dogs while having the option to wander between the indoor and outdoor play areas at their leisure. The camp consists of five indoor and four outdoor play areas so that the dogs can enjoy time with dogs of similar size and energy. The pups are surrounded by humans who pet them and love them which, of course, they really enjoy, Those who stay overnight are provided with a private cabin for eating, resting, and sleeping - after all, everyone can use a little “alone” time! “Our goal is to delight each of the Camp Bow Wow doggy and human clients,” explains Randy DeFazio, one of the owners of Camp Bow Wow Bridgewater. So, in addition to knowing that their dogs are in a safe, fun envi- ronment, people are able to watch their campers from wherever they are on live webcams. They are also comforted by being able to drop off and pick up their dogs during extended hours 365 days a year. This in itself can be quite a cost sav- ings to clients, not having to leave their pets for an extra night. And, the price is all inclusive – no hidden charges – one rate which includes all of the play time, special food instructions, medications, extra lovin’, and no restricted pick up times. Because Camp Bow Wow Bridgewater is part of a national franchise, clients can expect consis- tent, high standards and support but also enjoy the benefits of a facility that is individually owned and operated. Local owners mean more involvement and more per- sonalized care. “We are here all the time,” explains Randy DeFazio, one of the camp owners. “We get it; we understand how important each and every dog is. We treat all of the dogs as individuals – with their own food, treats every night, and extra attention when they need it. Our Camp Bow Wow team is diverse but they share one thing in com- mon – they all have a passion for dogs.
