Come learn how to ice skate this summer at Bridgewater Sports Arena’s Learn to Skate Summer Camp. Bridgewater Sports Arena is conveniently located off of Rt. 22 West in Bridgewater New Jersey. Our Learn to Skate (LTS) Camp is designed for recreation- al skaters or beginner skaters who are looking to improve their skating skills. Skaters will receive private on ice instruc- tion, practice time, free skate rentals, along with off-ice group skills instruction. Learning how to skate is a fundamental skill that is necessary before moving on to figure skating, playing hockey or attending an ice skat- ing birthday party or event with friends or family. Camp participants will be on the ice for 7½ hours per week for a combination of private skating instruction and free skating time to practice their newly learned skills. Other activ- ities include a half hour per day of off-ice group skills instruc- tion. Skaters will focus on bal- ance, agility, flexibility, and much more. Participants will also have 1½ hours per day of recreational activities which may include games of Laser Tag, time in the arcade to experience over 65 different games and simulators, time in the Softplay 3-story play- mazium complete with moon walk, ball pit, and twisty slides, theme days like “Safari Day,” “Circus Day,” and so much more! Skaters may bring their own snack/lunch or a lunch can be purchased through BSA. Our 2015 camps will run for 7 weeks beginning June 29th and ending August 13th. The LTS Camp check-in begins at 9:15am and pick up time is from 3:30-3:45pm. We have extended recreation time before and after camp times for those campers who need an earlier drop off or later pick up time. Camps meets Monday through Thursday with an optional full day of recreation available on Fridays as well. Camp fees are $195.00 a week per camper. BSA is offer- ing a multiple week camp dis- count for 10% off of your total registration fee when you sign up for 4 weeks of camp or more and 15% off when you sign up for all 7 weeks of camp. Campers must register for all camp weeks at the same time to receive this discount.
